Mr. Tom Redmon
Director, IT Services
BoscoBank, Inc.
14 Trade Street
Charlotte, NC 28202
Dear Mr. Redmon:
I’m answering your recent ad in the Charlotte Bugle, and want to tender myself as an applicant for the position of Hardware Service Technician in your department.
Here’s my resume. If you look, you’ll find that I attended Fillmore University, where I majored in Computer Science and majored campus computer lab. With my education and extensive experience with computer hardware, you can bet I’d make a strong contribution to your IT Services Department.
In addition to my training, I have professional experience, for example working as a PC repair tech at a large computer superstore. Further, I have earned a variety of hardware, application, and networking certifications, which are useful to any Hardware Technecian.
A position at BoscoBank is really pretty attracting to me. My research shows that your company does good with employee growth and development, and is better than other banks in innovative use of technology. I regard this position as a long-term opportunity to foster my own professional and technical growth, and to make a positive contribution to one of our region’s premier banking institutions.
I hope to interview you at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Jim LePlante
